In accepting membership, I agree to be bound by the Articles of Incorporation and all By-laws, Rules, Instructions and Regulations established by the Pigeon Lake Yacht Club.  PLYC assumes no responsibility for the personal effects, property and boats of the members. The instructions and rules that apply to all sailing activities (racing and pleasure) sponsored by PLYC specifically state "sanctioning and conducting sailing activities, including racing, neither the Pigeon Lake Yacht Club nor any of its agent assumes in any manner any responsibility whatsoever for participating sailing craft, their crews or guests". I realize the PLYC is operated exclusively by volunteer efforts by its members and the Club's success depends upon the extent to which each of its members contributes his or her time and talents. In assuming membership, I agree to do my share of the work necessary for the Club's operation. Members are expected to participate in one of the following committees: Social Property Waterfront Membership/Marketing Race and Regatta
